Samsung releases OLED World app to show how superior AMOLEDs are..

Want to show off how your Galaxy S4 or Galaxy Note 3’s display is vivid and boasts an amazing picture quality? Samsung has something for you to support the case. The OLED World app showcases some images taken by renowned photographers like Ashley Vincent, Hougaard Malan, Kwon O Chul and Satoshi Kuribayashi and shows why AMOLEDs can produce better colours, contrast ratio and colour gamut. Sweetening the deal further is the ability to save those high-resolution images to set it as wallpaper.

Samsung Display manufactures OLED panels for Samsung Electronics and to give users an experience of the OLED panel’s colour reproduction, gamut and contrast ratio, they’ve released an Android app called OLED World. The app shows off some pictures shot by renowned photographers like Ashley Vincent, Hougaard Malan, Kwon O Chul and Satoshi Kuribayashi and highlights how the display produces accurate colours and Adobe RGB standard colour space compared to other displays. Users can even save the desired pictures on their devices to use it wallpapers.
The app seems to be available for many devices but is currently targeted at Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 due to the Full HD Super AMOLED Display.
